ファウンデーションコース終了後のアムステルダム大学での学科

アムステルダム大学進学のためのファウンデーションコースを一定の成績で履修すると、以下の2つの学科のうちのどちらかの学科に進学できます。

どちらの学科も授業は全て英語で行われます。

アムステルダム大学の経済学/経営学科(The BSc Economics and Business)は3年制の学士過程で、全ての講義は英語で行われます。

You will study:

Year 1
All students cover, among other things, the academic undergraduate basics of mathematics, statistics, economics and business. Students acquire writing, presentation and research skills. After completing the first year, students receive a certificate.

Year 2 and 3
Students choose to specialise in Business Studies, Economics or Economics and Finance. In the Economics and Business Studies specialisations, students are encouraged to complete an international exchange period and study at one of the many high-level partner universities of the College of Economics and Business worldwide.

Business Studies
Students take an interdisciplinary approach to understand the complex issues facing businesses today.
Topics covered include:
– Finance
– Marketing
– Organisational psychology
– Strategy and organisation
– Information management.

Economics
Specialising in economics gives students broad knowledge as well as analytical insight into the field of economics. The focus is on the functioning of markets and the relationship between the market and government.
Topics include:
– The development of employment
– The impact of public expenditure on investments of companies.

Economics and Finance
Students focus on economic decision making in the fields of (macro-)economics and business economics. Subjects include:
– Monetary economics
– Banking
– Investments and portfolio theory
– Advanced corporate finance

There are opportunities to spend one semester at one of 100 foreign partner universities, such as the University of New York, the University of Melbourne or Copenhagen Business School.

*アムステルダム大学の経済学/経営学科(BSc Economics and Business)に進学するためには、ファウンデーションコースにおいて以下の条件を満たす必要があります。

  • 6.5 IELTS or equivalent, with no single element below 6.0
  • 60% average across three academic subjects (students must achieve 60% in Maths Module 1).

アムステルダム大学は、アムステルダム大学進学のためのファウンデーションコースを一定の成績で修了した学生には大学進学を保障します。
PPLE(BSc PPLE)学科は政治学、心理学、法学、経済学(Politics, Psychology, Law and Economics)の4つの学問を全て学べる学科であり、3年制の学士過程です。

You will study:

Year 1
All students cover, among other things, the academic core courses of the undergraduate degree. Interdisciplinary courses such as ‘Law, justice and morality’, ‘Beyond hierarchy’ and ‘Decision making’ help you foster a broad mindset and provide a good foundation in the disciplines. This will give you the required knowledge for the courses in the second and third years. In the methodological courses (‘Doing research’), you will learn about the main qualitative and quantitative research methods and techniques. At the end of each semester, in the integrated seminars, students conduct a project based on social challenges and themes, such as security, solidarity and global justice.

Year 2 and 3
Students choose to specialise in politics, psychology, law or economics. The majors have been specially and carefully designed by teams of leading scholars from all across the University of Amsterdam. Before receiving the Bachelor of Science degree, students will write an extensive Bachelor’s thesis during the third year.

  • AAB across three academic subjects with an average of 70%
  • IELTS 7.0 or equivalent, with no single element below 7.0
  • Essay assessment and interview
  • Motivation letter and CV
